Lali x Lola receive DreamChild Foundation Certificates of Appreciation alongside co-founder Kofi Amoakohene

DreamChild Foundation Honours National Leaders in Child Wellness Drive

The DreamChild Foundation has honoured a group of national leaders and public figures at an appreciation ceremony in Accra, recognising their support for child wellness while renewing its call for greater investment in child healthcare across Africa. Those celebrated included the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II; the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II; President John Dramani Mahama; and dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.

The Foundation also paid tribute to the late Nana Dr. Ama Amissah III, Paramount Queen Mother of the Mankessim Traditional Area and a devoted supporter of its mission, who recently passed away while on an official trip to the United States. In the same spirit, music duo Lali x Lola were named Global Ambassadors to help carry child wellness advocacy to younger audiences across the continent.

The honours form part of DreamChild’s wider push, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 3, to keep child welfare at the centre of public attention and build momentum toward the HoodTalk Music Festival: the advocacy and fundraising platform working to fund paediatric clinics across Africa.
