Lali x Lola Named Champions of African Child Wellness for HoodTalk

Organisers of the HoodTalk Music Festival 2026 have named Ghanaian twin duo Lali x Lola as leading voices in the festival’s African child wellness campaign, tapping the fast-rising act to carry its message of health, education, and empowerment as preparations for this year’s edition intensify.

Fresh off a strong showing at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards and a standout performance at the 2025 festival, the duo’s growing influence with young audiences makes them natural ambassadors for HoodTalk’s social mission. Organisers say their selection reflects a commitment to using music and entertainment to advocate for the well-being and development of children across the continent.

Founded by the DreamChild Foundation, HoodTalk has grown from a one-off concert into a purpose-led movement that blends entertainment with advocacy. The 2026 edition takes place on September 5 at Black Star Square in Accra and will be streamed to audiences in over 100 countries, with organisers eyeing expansion into diaspora markets including the United States, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom.
